Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of matchaskill ("we", "us"), a platform that evaluates technical talent through AI video interviews and competency scoring. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use matchaskill on behalf of a company, you accept these Terms for that company.

The service

matchaskill lets you publish roles, invite candidates to an asynchronous AI video interview, and receive competency scoring, transcripts and reports to support your hiring decisions. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must have the authority to bind any company you represent.

Plans, billing and payments

matchaskill offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. You pay for AI interviews, not for seats, according to the plan in effect. Paid fees are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout and are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with notice for future periods; taxes may apply.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape or overload the platform.
• You are responsible for informing candidates that the interview is recorded and evaluated with AI, and for having a lawful basis to process their data.

Candidate data

For candidate data, you are the data controller and matchaskill acts as your data processor; for your account data, we act as the controller. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

AI scoring is decision support

Competency scores, levels and recommendations are generated by AI to support your evaluation. They are not a hiring decision and are not guaranteed to be error-free. You remain solely responsible for your hiring decisions and for complying with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law.

Intellectual property

We own the matchaskill platform, software and brand. You keep ownership of the content you provide (such as your questions and configuration) and grant us the rights needed to operate the service for you.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, matchaskill is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and we will notify customers of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where matchaskill operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
